undeserved recognition

As Alisan and I head to Denver for Thanksgiving on our last road trip of the year, I find myself a little short of time to rant. No worries though, the folks at the Los Angeles Auto Show served up a whopper:
The Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid SUV Won its Green Car of the Year award!
Give me a break, Arnold.
Yep, it was the green governor himself who announced:
They've proven that they can make beautiful cars, strong cars, keep the size, keep the safety, and all those kinds of things, and at the same time be more fuel efficient.
Big Deal. According to EPA ratings, Chevy has taken a gas guzzling vehicle that got 14 mpg in town and 19 mpg on the highway and turned it into an "fuel efficient" 21 city/22highway gas guzzler.
Want more "good" news: GM has also announced plans to introduce a hybrid version of its Cadillac Escalade luxury SUV and its Silverado pick-up truck.
As I said, give me a break!
