I almost wrote an off-topic rant about our fearless leader's commuting Scooter Libby's prison sentence, but noticed that I'm at least 500 comments in arrears of the New York Times' Lede blog on this particularly aggravating subject.
Instead, since it's a holiday, I'm going to keep it short, sweet and to the point of yesterday's post on eco-friendly buying. Fact is: the only real eco-friendly buying is no buying at all.
Ever wonder why we Americans buy so much stuff? It may be a chicken and egg thing, but one contributing factor has to be the amount of real estate devoted to the "retail experience."
