To begin, I've got to say how much I admire all the work the MoveOn.org Political Action Team does. Above all else, their persistence is admirable.

But how often do I hit the delete button on a MoveOn email? Too often, I'm ashamed to say. But I didn't yesterday.

If you happened to delete the message from MoveOn's Ilyse Hogue, asking you to send a message to Congress to Get Real on Climate Change, please give your decision a second thought. The cumulative impact of over 1400 Step It Up Events PLUS the hand delivery of a petition to Congress reinforcing the message–cut carbon emissions 80% by 2050–may just be too much for Congress to ignore.
