Superuse

Treehugger is a favorite site of mine to visit, especially when I'm looking for inspirational and innovative ideas to reduce, reuse and recycle–all of which help shrink my carbon footprint.
So, looking for inspiration and grist for today's post, I journeyed to Treehugger and stumbled upon Superuse, a Dutch website where recycling meets design.
Among the many great ideas featured on Superuse, you'll find a wide variety of "solutions" to common recycling challenges. Take the ubiquitous CD spindle case for example–who would have thought it would make a perfect container for a bagel sandwich!
To be sure, Superuse is a fun site, full of quirky ideas. You can vote on your favorites, and the "newly popular" are featured on the home page. Filing categories include: general, ideas, projects, materials, websites and books; under materials, you can even learn what to do with your old kitchen sink.
While browsing the book section, I noticed that there will be a book launch on April 19th for Superuse, the book. If you just happen to be in Delft, stop in at the Technical University's espresso bar and pick up a copy.
Carbon Neutral Journal's kudos are brought to you by Grand Targhee Resort.
